Known for being one of the most outspoken players in the league, Beverley did justice to his reputation when he was asked about his thoughts on being able to play with players of the stature of LeBron James and Anthony Davis in the upcoming season.

When asked by Hoop Central about how he feels having to play alongside James and Davis in the upcoming season, Beverley simply said: “”They’re gonna be playing with me. I made the playoffs last year, they didn’t.”

In all honesty, Beverley is right – he has a point as the Lakers have acquired one of the best guards in the league and have put together a roster who are looking like one of the favourites for the Championship ahead of the season opener.
