The New York Knicks who have had a terrible season of far and have lost multiple games due to their bad performances in the 4th quarter while giving away double-digit leads shocked the entire world today as they defeated the Miami Heat after coming back from a 17 points deficit.
Miami who is the 1st seed in the Eastern Conference dominated the whole game and were looking like sure-shot winners of the game but the New York Knicks had other plans as they outscored them by 38-15 in the 4th quarter.
The young guns of the Knicks spearheaded by Immanuel Quickley changed the game as they just totally outplayed the Miami team from the start to the end in the 4th quarter.
Quickley scored 23 points in the game and with valuable contributions from the likes of Quentin Grimes and RJ Barrett led the way for the Knicks to a huge win which will boost their confidence in what already has been a disaster of a season for them. The Knicks will look to bounce back stronger next season as they have a very good group of young players who will pave the way for their success in the future.
What has happened to the Miami Heat?
The Miami Heat who were looking like the best team in the East has lost their way recently as they have suffered 3 straight losses in the games where they should have won all of them.
They lost to the Philadelphia 76ers without Embiid and Harden and also lost to the Warriors without Klay, Draymond, and Steph in their past two games while Miami played with all of their star players.
This loss against the Knicks is unacceptable as they were in complete command of the game. They completely got outplayed in the 4th quarter. And lost to the team who has been absolute trash the whole season.
Miami will look to bounce back immediately as the playoffs are fast approaching. And they have championship aspirations for this season.
