New Orleans Pelicans take down the Los Angeles Lakers in a big matchup.
The Los Angeles Lakers’ season continues to get worse as they lost again to the New Orleans Pelicans which has seriously damaged their hopes of qualifying for the play-in tournament.
The Lakers lost this crucial game to the Pelicans by the score of 111-114, where they choked in the clutch after looking dominant throughout most of the game.
LeBron James scored 38 points but air-balled a potential game-tying three-pointer which could have sent the game to overtime.
Anthony Davis on his return to the lineup from an ankle injury also looked good as he scored 23 points and recorded 12 rebounds as well, but he still was not able to carry the Lakers to the finishing line.
LORD HAVE MERCY: LeBron ends the Lakers' biggest game of the year with an air ball. LeBron fails to close yet another game begging to be closed. LeBron couldn't close a car door. No clutch gene.

The Lakers have a very tough task ahead of them to even make the play-in tournament because the Spurs are ahead of them and are looking in a good position to make the play-in tournament ahead of them.
It will require a miraculous effort by the Lakers team now to have any chance of keeping their hopes alive because they have a very tough schedule ahead of them.
Just cancel the rest of the season for the Lakers. They refuse to play defense or stop turning the ball over. Only a few gms left. F’ing embarrassing

A LeBron and AD team is going to miss the play-in. That’s a special level of organizational incompetence.

CJ McCollum dropped 32 points to help the New Orleans Pelicans take down the Lakers
CJ McCollum led the way for the Pelicans as he scored 32 points and shot 12/23 from the field while also knocking down 4 three-pointers to get this huge win.
Brandon Ingram was also once again at his best against his former team as he scored 29 points. He shot 10/17 from the field and is looking ready to take this Pelicans team to a playoff berth.
The New Orleans Pelicans are in a good run of form. They are looking like a legit contender to make the playoffs because they have all the momentum in the world at the moment.
C.J. McCollum and Brandon Ingram combine for 61 points to spoil LeBron and AD's return 😤
