James is all set to reach the top as he is now standing at 37,062 points behind the only Kareem with 38, 387 points.

Last season, Bron averaged 30.3 points per game while shooting more than 52% from the field. Year 20 in the league for the king is approaching but he is not showing any signs of slowing down.

Kareem retired in 1989 with a special record that is yet to be touched. LeBron will be turning 38 this December and soon after that, he is expected to break the record of the legend Abdul-Jabbar.

When Will LeBron Become NBA’s Leading Scorer

Dave McMenamin of ESPN discussed the chances and analyzed the timeframe when Bron can own that record. If LeBron can maintain an average of 25 points per game, he can reach the milestone around the all-star break.

Dave McMenamin said during the NBA today that “At Celtics, he would love to do it there”, discussing possibilities of him leading the all-time scoring list on January 28, 2023.

It would take him 53 games if he can manage those stats throughout. He also analyzed the possibilities of him passing Kareem Abdul against the Golden State Warriors.
