LeBron James did something in his 19th NBA season that even Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Kobe Bryant were unable to accomplish

In his 19th NBA season, LeBron James had the highest ppg for a player in their 19th season or later. LeBron averaged 30.3 points per game in his 19th season beating both Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Kobe Bryant. James is the only player in NBA history to average 30+ ppg in their 19th NBA season or later.

LeBron being able to score 30 ppg in his 19th NBA season proves both his longevity and self-care regimen. James is well-known for taking care of himself and spends a lot of money to take care of his body. LeBron’s business partner Maverick Carter once said that LeBron spends more than $1 million on his body.

LeBron spends his money on a variety of treatment and body-care facilities. The money does not seem to have been wasted as LeBron looks to be in fantastic shape. LeBron James has had very few major injuries and has never sat out games unnecessarily.

What other records is LeBron James looking to break?

In his upcoming 20th NBA season, LeBron James is looking to surpass Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the NBA’s top scorer. LeBron currently has 37,062 points to his name and needs only 1326 points to surpass Kareem’s 38,387 points. This is a record that LeBron will more than likely break this season.

If LeBron played in all 82 games, he’d need to average a minimum of 16.18 ppg to beat Kareem’s record. Although LeBron will not play every single game, you get a sense of how achievable this record is for him.

LeBron is coming off a season averaging 30.3 ppg. If he does that again this season, he’ll break Kareem’s record by his 44th game. It will be exciting to see history being made this NBA season.
