It was in the third quarter when the Brooklyn Nets were hosting the Dallas Mavericks at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, that the Nets stole the ball and started a turnover to pin the Mavericks in their half of the floor. Royce O’Neale stole the ball off Max Kleber to start a turnover and while the Mavericks tracked back to defend it, O’Neele found the bucket for a two-pointer.

Amid the turnover, Luka Doncic – tracking back to defend the counter attack – got pushed into the ground by Kevin Durant who was attacking the ball. That Durant pushed Doncic onto the floor even after O’Neale completed the two pointer for the Nets went viral on social media immediately following the game, along with Doncic’s face of surprise.

However, it was ultimately the Slovenian who had the last laugh at the end of the game after he put on quite the masterclass to help the Mavericks turn the game around in overtime.

The Slovenian put on a performance where he racked up 41 points, 11 rebounds and 14 assists – a brilliant triple double to take the contest to overtime and then win it. Even though Durant and Kyrie Irving both put on 35+ point performances, Doncic’s all round performance carried the Mavericks into overtime at 114-114 – in a game that they ended up winning 129-125.

It was Doncic’s fourth consecutive 30+ point performance this season, and the Slovenian looks to be in quite some form since the start of the season which he will hope to keep up.
