Is James Harden actually returning to the Rockets?

James Harden’s departure from the Houston Rockets was not in the ideal way possible. The 33-year-old shooting guard arrived late for training sessions and publicly criticized them, which eventually resulted in Rockets sending their main-man out to Brooklyn Nets.

After a year, Harden lost all hopes of winning a championship despite being in a team which consisted of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. This made him move away from Brooklyn and make his way alongside Philadelphia 76ers. Now that The Beard has found his grove with the Sixers, ESPN Analyst Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the former MVP is seriously considering a return to his former team.

On one hand where Houston Rockets have never looked like a settled unit ever since James Harden has departed. Philadelphia 76ers are looking like one of the top championship caliber teams, as they currently riding strong on an 8-game losing streak wherein their latest win came against the New York Knicks, on the back on Harden’s 29 and Embiid’s game-tying high score of 35 points.

“Harden and his inner circle have been openly weighing Houston in recent months, sources said, a remarkable possibility given that he requested and received a trade out of the franchise less than two years ago,” Wojnarowski wrote.

Will James Harden return to Houston Rockets?

So when one particular reporter wanted a firm word with the concerned player upon his plans of moving back to Rockets, perhaps adding to his image of giving up on teams, James was in no mood to add any more rumors against his name.

Harden fumed at the reporter for adding to the rumor mill, Why would you ask me about that on Christmas, man?… You didn’t say Merry Christmas or nothing. You asked me about something that I ain’t even… I’m not answering. I didn’t see nothing.”
