Did LeBron James drop an f-bomb after becoming the all-time record scorer in the NBA?

The Los Angeles Lakers went up against the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Crypto.com Arena on Tuesday, but all the focus was on LeBron James – as the NBA legend approached the game as one to win, as well as one where he possibly overtakes Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to create NBA history.

So when LeBron James hit the Thunder with a fadeaway jump shot with the seconds ticking off near the end of the third quarter, history was made as LeBron overtook Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to become the highest scorer of all time in the NBA. LeBron created history in his own right, and strengthened his argument even further in the discussion for the greatest player of all time.

While celebrations ensued almost immediately when LeBron racked up the two points that took him past Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in the all-time list for points in NBA history, all his teammates and staff seemed exalted for him. So when LeBron addressed the audience and his teammates after breaking the record, it was an extremely emotional occasion for the bona fide legend.

The overwhelming emotions of the occasion seemed to get to LeBron James, as he seemed to slip up his tongue while delivering his speech – and caused the speech to go viral in no time.

How did LeBron James’ speech go viral in no time?

When LeBron broke the record with his fadeaway jumper, the game stopped for the legend to call his family onto the court and deliver a speech.

I would never, ever in a million years dreamt this any better than it was tonight,’’ a tearful LeBron told the crowd after the tears had finally dried. Eventually, when LeBron had to address the capacity crowd at the Crypto.com Arena, the emotions overcame the NBA legend once again. “I just want to say thank you to the Laker faithful,’’ he said. “You’re one of a kind.”

James finished by thanking his family, his friends and everyone that has been on this run with him for the past 20 years. At the very end of the tribute, as if he’d run out of words, there was an f-bomb as he said: “F**k, man” and concluded his speech with a “thank you.”
