Juan Soto was recently traded to the San Diego Padres. It was one of the biggest trades that we have ever seen in baseball history. The Padres gave up a lot to acquire Soto but it was worth it.

According to Jeff Passan of ESPNThe San Diego Padres are finalizing a deal to acquire superstar outfielder Juan Soto from Washington, sources tell ESPN. One of the biggest deals in baseball history goes down, and it sends the 23-year-old to SD, where he will team with Fernando Tatis Jr. and Manny Machado.

Manny Machado, who has been brilliant for the Padres throughout the season was very happy to see his compatriot Juan Soto coming to San Diego. Machado knows how great of a player Soto is and knows how he can be a game-winner for them.

Talking about Soto, Machado said, “I mean how do you know how to answer that question I mean he’s a monster, I mean he does what he does every single day every single year and performs at the highest level every single year and he showed it in the postseason he showed it in all-star games home-run derby.”

Machado talked about Soto and said, “I mean just the way he posted up every single day he goes out there and you know I think for me uh you know the most impressive thing for me as a player when I watch him is just uh you know how he takes to the bats.”

He added, “You know he’s selective um you know throughout the zone and doesn’t swing out many bad pitches so uh you know it’s definitely gonna be uh pretty impressive and fun to uh you know pick his brain on that and you know and kind of uh you know feed the feed off of off of what makes him the best.”

Juan Soto will be a great addition to this Padres team. They are building something special here, and once everyone gels up, they’ll be hard to stop.

The San Diego Padres are looking quite scary

On the trade deadline, the Padres did some very decent business. Juan Soto, Josh Bell, and Josh Hader were among the notable players who arrived. The Padres are now a much superior team thanks to all three of these players.

All of the holes on their team have been filled. This club has a chance to win the World Series because Fernando Tatis Jr. is expected to return soon.

The trio of Fernando Tatis Jr., Juan Soto, and Manny Machado will be extremely dangerous. The Padres are a formidable opponent for any pitching staff, so it will be thrilling to watch this club for years to come.

The Padres are unlikely to catch up with the Dodgers this season, which is why they will likely be a wildcard team. However, whichever team will face them in the playoffs knows it won’t be easy for them.

The San Diego Padres have gone all in to win the World Series. They have all the tools required to do it, which is why they will be one of the most exciting teams to watch for years to come.
