LIV vs ARS Dream 11: Can Liverpool beat Arsenal for the second time this season?

Liverpool host Arsenal in one of the best Carabao Cup fixtures of round four as both sides look to continue their progress in the competition.

The Reds are coming off a great 2-1 win over Tottenham in their previous game, and they should have scored more than the two goals given the chances they created.

Arsenal, however, were held to a 2-2 draw by Crystal Palace in a game filled with VAR controversy and a crazy incident regarding club captain Granit Xhaka.

The Swiss star was subbed in the game as Arsenal kept pushing for the third goal, and as the midfielder made his way off, the crowd started booing him.

Xhaka asked for more shouts from the crowd and cupped his ear before taking his jersey off and walking down the tunnel.

Both sides should look to change their team around and give some chances to bright young talent as they did in the previous round.

Defenders

Most of the first-team defenders would be rested by Liverpool and Arsenal. However, Joe Gomez should get a start given that he was on the bench in the win over Spurs.

Rob Holding and Hector Bellerin could get some valuable points from the Arsenal defence.

Harvey Elliott was excellent against the Dons and there could be another youngster starting with Bukayo Saka playing for the Gunners.
