Last weekend saw the marriage of Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green and actress Hazel Renee.
Draymond Green’s wedding was a celebrity-studded party, just as everyone had anticipated. To put it mildly, the newlywed couple had an amazing guest list.
The pair might have had to scale down on their initial wedding plans, though. Even the wife’s jokes at the July ESPY Awards. She joked that their wedding’s budget had been affected by the NBA fines Draymond Green must pay.
Furthermore, special guest lists are required for a wedding of an NBA player. Teammate Steph Curry, LeBron James, Dray’s agent, Rich Paul, Jayson Tatum, and many more were among the famous people who attended the wedding. Even at the wedding, Roddy Ricch and DaBaby gave performances.
LeBron James even sent Green a sweet Instagram message following the wedding festivities. He praised Renee and Green for their outstanding marriage. LeBron James thanked Green for allowing him and his wife to attend the historic event.
During Green’s wedding, LeBron James uploaded some pictures as well. “What a wonderful time it was! Congratulations on your beautiful/wonderful marriage, you two. And I want to say a huge thank you for letting my Queen and I be a part of the happiest day of your life thus far! It was a privilege. Love you guys”. he wrote
LeBron James and Draymond Green are also close buddies. Therefore, it is not unexpected that the latter attended the wedding. Additionally, the two have gotten to know one another throughout the offseason. Green lately even took over as James’ photographer.
A number of athletes attended the wedding as well. And it’s encouraging to see them congregating not only around their customary ring but also this time around a different sort of ring. It’s good that in rare instances like these, their on-court competitions occur outside the arena, even if most spectators would like to see them battle against one another.
