The family relocated to Virginia, where Wright joined Forest Park High School. She averaged 22.6 points, 9.0 rebounds, 6.8 assists, and 4.0 steals per game on her school team.
In her freshman year at the University of Virginia, she was named the ACC Rookie of the Year.

Durant averaged 20.3 points per game in his rookie season, giving him the NBA Rookie of the Year award.

Currently, he became the leading scorer for the USA in the Olympics after overtaking Carmelo Anthony.
