Kevin Durant – Before His NBA Career

Kevin Wayne Durant was born in September 1988 to Wanda and Wayne Pratt in the community of Suitland, Maryland. Growing up with his three siblings, his height became a subject of teasing for the young students.

His height had been a blessing and Kevin’s grandmother made sure to remind him of that. In fact, in his young years, he had already started playing the field for the PG Warriors and amateur youth basketball team, which with the coach’s training and Kevin and his team won two national championships.

Kevin then went on to join the University of Texas Longhorns where he rose as a star player and won many awards and titles including the – Big 12 Tournament’s Most Valuable Player. He also became the first freshman in his college to win as many awards as he did.

Kevin Durant as an NBA Player

A year later from graduation, Kevin applied for the 2007 NBA draft, and naturally, he was picked. He was the second pick for the Seattle Supersonics (now Oklahoma City Thunder). His popularity at the very initial stages was more than overwhelming and he was then relocated to Oklahoma City Thunder.

During his time with the Thunder, not once did he leave the spotlight, and even represented his nation in the Olympics. But finally, in 2016, he signed a contract and made his shift to the Golden State Warriors. He wrote in the Player’s Tribune how he believed he needed to challenge himself and move out of his comfort zone to grow. As he did.

In 2019, he finally signed a $164 million 4-year contract with the Brooklyn Nets, however, due to injuries and illness, he has been unable to remain active in the game.

Kevin Durant Dating History

Kevin Durant remains one of the most important bachelors today, whose dating life has interested many. He currently isn’t engaged or married, but he has had a fiancée and has never really been secretive about his relationships.

Currently, his status remains single, but rumors and speculations did get out on how Kevin had once dated the popular adult film star Lana Rhodes, which had the internet in a frenzy.

He has previously been with the gorgeous Cassandra Anderson, who is a relator in California. During 2016-17 he was in an on-and-off relationship with Jasmine Shine, for a while. But one of their most favorite partners of his remains Monica Wright, his fiancée. But the wedding didn’t end up in the chapel as Kevin realized he didn’t feel enough strongly for her, and a wedding would be a poor idea in the shaky circumstances, which is respectable.

There have been others but not all confirmed, and he reveals in an interview he’d rather not be pressured with these matters. And that things would work themselves out and he’d go with the flow.

Kevin Durant Children

The 33-year-old Durant remains unmarried and has no children either. And neither does he seem eager in looking for love or having children. However he is also not opposed to the idea and if the circumstances feel right and work out to him become a father, it might just feel right.
