Raji: An Ancient Epic is now here on mobile with its indie adventure and here is how you can play it on Android or iOS.

Raji: An Ancient Epic is an action-adventure RPG game taking its inspiration from the mythologies of India. The game is available now on Android and iOS devices through Netflix games.

The game was initially released in 2020 for PC and PlayStation platforms. After its debut, it got nominated for the best debut game category at the Games Awards 2020. This game title has received a lot of impressive reviews from its players for its intricate details on Indian mythology. The game has mild violent scenes therefore it has been restricted for kids or other user profiles on Netflix.

Raji: An Ancient Epic Storyline

The game has been created by Nodding Heads Games. The storyline follows the journey of a young girl named Raji. The exploration world is based on ancient Indian lands and Raji has become the chosen one to resist a demonic invasion into the sacred place of the human world. The game also features a parallel storyline where Raji seeks to save her younger brother Golu from the hands of evil King Mahabalasura.

Raji: An Ancient Epic Gameplay

This game particularly is a unique category in RPG given its types to the Indian mythology setup. There are not many games out there that emphasize such storylines. It is indeed a new and fresh perspective for RPG players. This game not only provides a fresh perspective to RPG but also promotes Indian culture in the game by bringing ancient history into the storyline.

Now as the protagonist of the game, it’s in Raji’s hands to save the sacred land from the eye of evil by using her acting skills. Interestingly the weapons in the game also revolve around Indian mythology themes including Trishul and the Sharanga bow which are considered to be one of the most powerful weapons in Indian mythology.

Game Modes

As a player, you will be wielding these kinds of weapons as you travel the Indian landscape fighting the evil forces and bringing them down to restore human peace. So just like any other RPG game this too is packed with action and many puzzles to solve.

  • Campaign Mode: In this mode, you can set the difficulty mode as per your liking.
  • Story Mode: Features the main story of Raji.
  • Death Mode: This mode has extreme challenges. However, you can unlock this mode only after completing the game once.

The game also has another feature that lets you choose the Indian regional language you want to play in which varies from  Devanagari, Bengali, Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu. The Netflix edition features a Hindi voiceover.

The game is available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox and now is on the Google Play Store and the Apple Store as well.
