I am sure Clash of Clans is one of the most popular mobile games because I am writing about Clash of Clans Scenery. Clash of Clans raised its popularity due to its aggressive marketing campaign. Seriously, who doesn’t remember those ads on mobiles? This game was popular when mobile games were serious contenders for gaming. Released over a decade ago, many people still play Clash of Clans

Clash of Clans Overview

The gameplay loop is simple where the player takes the role of a chief of a village and gathers resources by attacking other villages and in turn building their own village. This strategy game uses an isometric camera similar to older titles such as Roller Coaster Tycoon and Zoo Tycoon.

Initially when the game launched, every player had a similar scenery when it came to their village. In the year 2020, 8 years after the game’s release, developers Supercell finally added an option to the players to change the scenery of their village. As a pretty common business model for free to play games, this game came with microtransactions and players got to choose their own scenery for a small price. This is purely cosmetic (especially the Clash of Clans Scenery) and would not give any player any pay to win advantages.

Clash of Clans Scenery Guide

Here is a quick guide on how to change the scenery in Clash of Clans

1. In the shop menu, go to the cosmetics section and players can see two categories namely skins and sceneries. Clash of Clans also comes with a premium pass for players to get regular in game currency for cosmetic purchases. This option is not available all the time though and players need to keep a lookout for its availability.
2. Once the purchase is complete, you can easily head over to the home screen i.e. Village screen and one of the options should say “Change Scenery”. Tap on the this icon to see the available scenery accessible to the player.
3. Finally choose the scenery of your choice to give your village a new look and feel. Please keep in mind that this does not affect the gameplay in any sense but only changes the look. There is also an option to randomize the sceneries depending on how many sceneries were purchased. Click the eye icon to preview the sceneries before applying and viola, your village has a new bold look to change the Clash of Clans Scenery.
