Where to find the Pyro Hypostasis in Genshin Impact?
The Pyro Hypostasis was unlocked during the introduction of the Inazuma Arc. It is located on Kannazuka Island, just at the top left of the Kujou Encampment. Post-Archon Chapter 2 Act 1, this red cube was a dormant block resting on an altar. You can unlock the boss after completing the required main quest part.

There are 3 types of rewards you can expect from defeating Pyro Hypostasis. Adventurer Exp, Mora and Companionship Exp. With this, you get either Fragments or Chucks of Agnidus Agate, Smoldering Pearl, and a piece of Artifact. There is a varying rarity of Artifacts and Agridus Agate.
Best Characters to Beat Genshin Impact Pyro Hypostasis
The two elements that work most effectively against are Hydro and Electro. Use a Hydro-based DPS to efficiently shred through its health.

- Xingqiu – Support
- Bennett – Support
- Zongli – Shield
Break Pyro infusion and deal heavy damage, you can use a lot of characters like Ayaka or Mona as main DPS. Ayaka, Mona, Kaeya, and Barbara are the ultimate easy team against Pyro Hypostasis if you have all the characters.
Budget Team Composition
- Xingqiu – Sub-DPS
- Barbara – DPS
- Kaeya – Support
- Noelle – Support/Shield
Use Xingqiu Ulti with Barbara’s normal attacks to proc heavy Hydro damage to the Pyro Hypostasis. After Pyro Hypostasis infusion and health are gone switch to Kaeya to trigger melt and then rinse and repeat. This is the best free-to-play team to beat the Pyro Hypostasis.
How to Beat Pyro Hypostasis?
Hypostasis exists in this world as field bosses and appears in all elements. Understanding its attack pattern is half the victory. The other half is understanding the team composition.
Flame Punch Attack
The Pyro Hypostasis transforms into a hand fist and smashes the ground towards your character. The Shockwave extends outward, sidewalk the smash, and jump in the air to avoid the shockwave. You can also dash far enough from the area of effect but that is quite inefficient.
Rolling Attack
Pyro Hypostasis can transform into a ball that crashes towards your character. This is a homing attack so save your stamina for this.
Explosion Attack
The Pyro Hypostasis turns into a ball bomb and channels into a big bang. The explosion triggers a wide area of effect damage. When the channeling begins get away from the area.
Eruption Attack
The Pyro Hypostasis transforms into a snake head and spits out blobs of molten fire. The molten blobs create a mini explosion as well so do watch out for that.
Three Phase Attack
There are three consecutive attacks, a mini bull charge, a grapple plunge, and a mini explosion. In this phase, you need to dodge attacks continuously.
Flame Pillar Attack
A streak of pillars will emerge from the ground to knock you out. Needless to say, save your stamina and Dodge it with all your might.
