High on Life is an action-adventure and fun game where you need to take on different challenges to progress to the next levels. The main story missions, daily objectives, and boss fights are the best features of High On Life. Krubis is one of the main story bosses whom you will take on in a bounty target mission. Completing the Krubis bounty will reward you 1500 Pesos and a Gus gun.
To start the battle against Krubis, players must head over to the Zephyr Paradise zone. Make sure you have also finished the 9-Torg’s Bounty Contract. To defeat Krubis, you need to find out his weakness and implement different strategies and moves. Krubis Bounty – Guide & Walkthrough
To initiate the challenge against Krubis, accept Krubis from the bounty 5000 and then go to the Zephyr Paradise. You need to explore the jungle regions and then interact with the Moplet Elder before the battle begins. Pass through the mines, and there you will find the drug addict Krubis, who has an uncanny cartoon face with weird expressions. Krubis has huge HP and skills, beating the alien boss requires patience and powers.
The battle against Krubis will be divided into two phases just like the other High On Life bounty missions. Here’s how to defeat Krubis and get the rewards in one of the challenging High on Life bounty missions.
Phase 1
Phase 1 is harder. After spotting Krubis in the mines, the battle moves to an Arena. The arena is vast, and the battle will begin as soon as you enter the place. Pick your guns and melee before the battle against Krubis. Krubis will be attacking with different abilities, and the boss can hide and attack, go underground, or attack on air. You have to find a way to overcome all these attacks from Krubis. Krubis uses a melee or shotgun along with a knife, and his health kit gives him an extra shield. Your main objective should be reducing the health of Krubis.
Krubis blends projectiles and spin moves, you can dodge these moves. He also unleashes a lethal melee combo, it’s better to block these moves again. You can utilize the glob shot to reduce his health. Apart from these, Krubis has a different playstyle and plans for every battle.
If Krubis is tired, then you need to take on his goons and kill them to bring back Krubis to the arena. Krubis will come up with Drill Frenzy ability which fires lasers, hookbugs will be enough to overcome these lasers.
Krubis also throws a disc that comes faster, dodge to your left side to avoid damage. You can use Glob Shot to avoid his lasers and projectiles, keep attacking him to reduce his HP to 50%, once the health is down to 50, then defeating Krubis is just one step away.
Phase 2
Now phase 2 against Krubis, is quite easy when compared to the last phase. The boss has lost half his health and powers. Krubis will be unleashing more projectiles and lasers. You can also counter his projectiles with melee. Krubis unleashes powerful lasers and drill attacks after the first phase, you can again use the glob shot. Make sure your Durashield is full, as you can’t afford to lose hp in the final phase. Krubis deals more damage in the last phase, dodge some of his power moves to stay intact. The Durashield gives you extra protection, as the Krubis boss’ attacks are faster and more powerful in the last phase, you need more protection to ensure that you don’t lose the battle after toiling hard for a long time. Whenever the boss hovers, you need to dodge his moves and projectiles. The boss will go underground and unleash lasers, you can quickly dodge them.
Use Sweezy and Knifey to deal more damage in the last few seconds, and keep attacking the boss to reduce his health to 0. Use all your best weapons to overcome his lasers and drills in the last part of the battle, as the frustrated boss is left with no options other than getting surrendered. Keep dealing more damage and negate his health to complete the battle.
Krubis collapses as soon as you drain his HP, then the battle is also done. A long battle against Krubis is worth your time, as you get some rewards and achievements. Gus Gun, 1500 Pesos, Cold-blooded driller achievement, and Gus-tomer Achievement are all your rewards for successful completion. Defeat Krubis and complete the next bounty mission targets in High on Life.
