Horizon Race-Off event is here and is setting the Forza Community on fire with its brilliant features.
Almost 3 years after its release, Forza Horizon 5 is still getting regular updates and features that spice up the gameplay and keep the Forza community excited. The latest update in Forza Horizon is the Horizon Race-Off which is a great way for all the community members to race together and unlock sweet and sugary rewards for every player.
This update consists of a mix of gameplay fixes and patches as well as exclusive Festival rewards for players to obtain. Let us break down this latest update in Forza Horizon i.e. the Horizon Race-Off.
Horizon Race-Off- Community Wide Rewards
First and foremost, players can obtain the 2024 Ford Mustang GT by completing the Horizon Race-Off Asphalt Racing categories. These include Drag Racing, Road Racing, Street Racing, and Midnight Battles in Mexico. The other events to be completed are the Hot Wheels Speed Racing and the Apex Predator Races in Rally Adventure.
The next car can be obtained by the Horizon Race-Off Off Roading Categories. Players will be rewarded with the 2023 Ford F-150 Raptor R after completing these events. These include Dirt Racing, Cross Country Racing in Mexico, Hazard Racing in Hot Wheels, and finally Grit Reapers Races and Horizon Raptors Races in Rally Adventure.
Horizon Race-Off- Adventure Outposts, Pinatas, EventLab Creations
The color theme for the offroad races and asphalt races has been changed on the outposts and are being decorated during the event. The Asphalt Races have shades of Blue and the Offroad races have shades of orange. Keep in mind that these outposts keep changing their location from time to time during this event. The helmets were redesigned and now look like a bombastic pinata. Similar to the race events, these helmets have shades of orange and blue in their color scheme.
On the other hand, the creators are able to share their Horizon Race-Off event props to the community. These include flags, billboards, and other decorations which have shades of orange and blue just like the theme of this event. The new props include 8 different signs and Flags broken down into Asphalt Flags and Off-road flags each with their blue and orange themes respectively. 2 different gameplay helmets, 6 festival cosmetics, and 2 walls and fences are available for players to obtain.
Horizon Race-Off- Acceleration Car Pack
If you are here for the sweetest stuff that is available in this update, let’s get ready to rumble. These are the cars that have boosted acceleration and are custom built to reach their top speed.
There are 4 cars available in this pack and these cars include:
- 2021 McLaren Sabre: Cut throat speed of 350 Km/hr
- 2019 Ginetta G10 RM: A higher end version of the already impressive G10
- 2022 Ford Supervan 4: Electric? No problem. 0-100 in just under 2 seconds
- 1967 Shelby GT500: Classic Muscle car with a 7.0 Litre V8 Engine.
