Inuzaka All-Round Defense is Gorou’s elemental skill. AoE geo DMG, and the Ability has a period of time in which to set up the General’s War Banner. The General’s War Banner grants up to 3 buffs to characters within the AoE of the skill. When there is 1 Geo character, it adds “Standing Firm” – DEF Bonus. When there are 2 Geo characters, it adds “Impregnable” – Increased resistance to interruption. Lastly, when there are 3 Geo characters, it adds “Crunch” – Geo DMG Bonus. Keep in mind that the characters will only be able to benefit from 1 General’s War Banner at a time.
Genshin Impact Gorou Guide: Elemental Burst
Juuga: Forward Unto Victory is Gorou’s elemental burst. As part of his burst, Gorou can create a Crystallize reaction that provides a shield to your characters every 1.5 seconds. The effect triggers the same bonuses as his Elemental Skill, but the reaction also causes Geo DMG to be dealt to all enemies nearby. Gorou will drag an elemental shard from the AoE of his burst towards the active character every 1.5 seconds.
As Gorou’s Elemental Burst is in an Impregnable state or Crunched state, his C4 will provide you with healing every 1.5 seconds. This heal is tied to half of Gorou’s def, and it applies to all characters within the AoE of the field.
Best Constellation for Gorou
The constellations he creates are geared towards Geo DPS teams and specifically help that playstyle. You can use constellations 1 and 2 as they are good at the start because they decrease the cooldown of the Elemental Skill. Not only that, but it also increases the duration of General’s Glory.
Talking about the C4, Gorou’s Elemental Burst will also allow him to heal active characters after he uses it. This bonus healing can be quite useful in combat. When it comes to increasing the team’s damage potential, Gorou’s most important constellation is C6. Players will gain access to greater damage numbers once the constellation is unlocked.

Best Weapon
Elegy for the End is the best weapon for Gorou since he is very energy-hungry. His burst consumes 80 energy. Therefore, equipping a weapon with an energy recharge secondary stat is very crucial. This is why Elegy of the End is the best for energy and mastering the elements.
Special Dish
The Victorious Legend is Gorou’s special food. The side dishes are piled high, depicting a slight movement, just like how Gorou’s own motivations move. You finish the noodles and soup in one go, patting your belly in satisfaction as you see him smiling radiantly as his tail wags from side to side.
Use Gorou with Geo
Gorou’s kit is primarily focused on off-field abilities, which qualifies him as a Support. Because his normal attacks have such low attack scaling, using him as the primary DPS is extremely difficult. He’s an excellent choice for Geo teams as a backup for the main DPS and sub-DPS characters.
Best Artifact
Gorou’s best role lies in supporting his party’s DEF, so you will want him to be equipped with two pieces from the Husk of Opulent Dreams set. If you don’t already have these Husk of Opulent Dreams pieces available, you can substitute the Defender’s Will set, which has the same 2-piece bonus and so can serve as a replacement.
The 4th Ascension Passive is very helpful
Gorou will get a damage bonus for his attacks and it will be based on his defense. Furthermore, Gorou’s, Elemental Skill damage, Elemental Burst damage, and Crystal Collapse damage will be increased by 15% of defense.
The charged and plunging attack is good enough for Geo damage
During Gorou’s Aimed Shots, stone crystals accumulate on the arrowhead. A fully charged crystalline arrow deals increased damage. When Gorou uses a plunging attack, he fires off a shower of arrows in mid-air before crashing to the ground and dealing AoE DMG when he hits.
