Cities Skylines 2 is one of the most popular tycoon games in the market. For players who are not familiar with tycoon games, these games are building simulators where the player gets to manage a specific region with assets, building and so on.
Few of the most tycoon games in the market are the Roller Coaster Tycoon and the Zoo Tycoon franchise. Roller Coaster Tycoon games let build their own amusement park whereas Zoo Tycoon lets players build their own zoo. When it comes to Cities Skylines, (you guessed it) players are here to build their own urban sprawling metropolitan city.
Cities Skylines 2 DLC- Beach Properties
Since the game was released last year in Oct, players were able to experience the game for a while and are not looking forward to the Cities Skylines 2 DLC content. DLC content usually includes a lot of new features, gameplay balances and additional items in the game for players to use. This can change the way the game is played on a lot of different levels and sometimes gives a whole new experience for gamers.
The 1st Cities Skylines 2 DLC content is called Beach Properties and is expected to release on 25th March. As the name suggests, the Cities Skylines 2 DLC Beach Properties includes properties that are attached to the sea or the beach to experience that serenity of a beach house. The coastline of the city can be modified with these new properties to make our city stand out. There are multiple options to build any type of buildings such as mansions, shacks and cottages.
The official Cities Skylines 2 DLC suggests around 70 new assets in the game. There are new gameplay features such as the Waterfront Zoning in the game that can give your city a new shade of charm. More content is yet to be released this year as the months go by as the developers have a lot planned.
City Skylines 2 DLC- Additional Content
Like every other game, Cities Skylines 2 DLC is paid and not free for players to use. This is a common method of earning revenue for game developers and true fans of the game proceed with such purchases. There is also an additional music pack called the Deluxe Relax Station pack releasing on the same day which includes around 60 minutes of audio content with a mix of music and DJ tracks.
In the future, it is revealed that there would be more Cities Skylines 2 DLC content released in the 2nd and 3rd quarter of 2024. We have to wait and see what the developers have in store for players to experience. All this content is available via the expansion pass or is available to purchase separately too.
This game is best played on the newer generation of consoles such as the Playstation 5 or Xbox Series X. Playstation also offers many games in their Playstation Plus subscription model.
