UFC Lightweight star Khama Worthy spoke highly on Francis Ngannou’s knockout ability

Francis Ngannou might be one of the biggest hitters in the UFC, something that Khama Worthy also highlighted.

Worthy was speaking exclusively to WERMMA as he touched upon several topics in the current promotion.

The 33-year-old is on a seven-fight win streak and won both his UFC fights so far. However, he was asked about some of the best knockouts in the sport with Jorge Masvidal vs Ben Askren coming up.

Worthy spoke about Jimi Manuwa and how the UFC star seemed to be electrocuted every time he was knocked out.

He also highlighted Ovince Saint Preux’s impressive head kick knockout against Corey Anderson but added that every Ngannou knockout was something from a horror movie:

“Every fu***** Francis Ngannou knockout, it’s like from some type of African horror movie.

“Like that last one he did, I just bad for Rozenstruik. He’s just swinging and swinging and then once he hits him it’s just like once he hits him, and the ref’s like ‘Oh God, get off him, get off him.’”

Looking for his next target

Worthy highlighted Ngannou’s last win over Jairzinho Rozenstruik, and it was an impressive knockout in the first round itself.

The UFC Heavyweight star had one shot at the title but lost that to Stipe Miocic a while back. However, Ngannou has been impressive ever since that loss and is on a four-fight win streak.

Ngannou won’t be challenging Miocic for the title next as Daniel Cormier faces the champion. However, that is set to be Cormier’s last UFC fight, and it should open the door for Ngannou’s return.

The 33-year-old should challenge the winner of that fight for the title, and it should be another cracking affair.

Ngannou has won 11 of his 15 MMA fights via knockout and it would not be a surprise to see another similar finish in that.
