Wrestling fans convinced Zelina Vega is headed off to AEW or Impact after huge Twitter update

Zelina Vega was released by WWE recently and some fans believed that she is off to either AEW or Impact

Former WWE star Zelina Vega seems to have huge plans set for her career with a possible move to another promotion too.

Vega was released by WWE with no real reason why the decision was taken. La Muneca was one of the top managers in the company and had recently restarted her wrestling career as a singles competitor.

Some outlets claimed that this was due to her decision not to stop her third-party streaming accounts. Vega was also making more money off Twitch and such outlets when compared to her WWE salary.

While she is still doing a lot of streaming and cosplay, she seems to be set for something big.

Vega posted an update on her Twitter account and claimed she had a huge call. The former WWE star didn’t reveal anything else but this was enough to get social media buzzing.

AEW or Impact?

AEW is the upstart company that has signed several former WWE stars. Tay Conti, Rusev, Chris Jericho, Matt Sydal and Jake Hager are just some talents that have joined AEW after spending years in WWE.

Jon Moxley, another former WWE star, also joining AEW and is the current champion in the promotion. Vega’s tweet didn’t confirm what her plans were but some believed she was perfect for AEW. Tony Khan’s promotion has given WWE a huge fight on Wednesdays and they need more quality stars in the women’s division.

Other fans, however, thought Impact could be the destination for her. That promotion has a quality women’s roster and also has former WWE stars such as Deonna Purrazzo, who is the current women’s champion.

AEW or Impact both would make great promotions for Vega and it will be interesting to see what is up with her.

However, Vega could take up a completely different project. She is extremely talented and her gaming and streaming skills could come to the fore.
