There were some big clashes on the card such as Chris Jericho vs Orange Cassidy on this Fyter Fest and here are the results and grades from day two.

Tag team championship clash

Private Party came out with Matt Hardy as they took on the champions Adam Page and Kenny Omega.

Marc Quen started off for Party with Omega getting the go ahead from the champions. Both teams traded a lot of blows with several big moves coming late in the clash.

However, it were the champions who hit the Last Call for the win.

Omega and Page win

Grade B

The match took some time to get going but the ending certainly was fun. The quartet can do a better job for sure but this wasn’t a bad match to get Fyter Fest day two doing.

Archer vs Janela

Lance Archer was the bigger of the two and dominated Joey Janela early on. However, Janela had some smart moves and even got Archer off his feet.

Sonny Kiss also hit a 450 on Archer but Janela couldn’t get the three count. Archer then hit a Blackout before covering Janela for the win.

Archer beats Janela

Grade B

Janela shouldn’t have stood a chance against Archer but he put on a great showing against the Murderhawk.

Further, it was a well-worked match with Archer still coming out as a dominant star.

Cage is a champion

Taz came out with Brian Cage and handed the star a belt. Cage vs Moxley will take place next week but Taz handed his star a FTW Championship.

He claimed that wrestling fans recognized this belt and this was for the baddest man on the planet.

Grade B

This just ups the ante ahead of the championship match, but it will be interesting to see if this is a real title which will be defended or just for show.

FTR and Young Bucks vs Butcher, Blade and Lucha Bros

FTR and the Young Bucks might have been rivals coming into the eight-man tag match, however, they showed off great teamwork throughout.

Ray Fenix and Pentagon also worked well with Butcher and Blade, and this was an excellent match. All the four men had some great moments, but one mistake from Matt Jackson saw Dax Harwood get hit by a superkick.

That allowed the Lucha Bros to move quickly and pick up the win.

Lucha Bros, Butcher and Blade win

Grade A

FTW vs Bucks will happen sooner rather than later, and this was great storytelling as there will be some heat between the teams.

This was an incredible tag match and almost everything was perfect.

Rose in a handicap match

Former AEW Women’s Champion Nyla Rose took on KiLynn King and Kenzie Page in a handicap.

Rose easily destroyed her two rivals and dominated them. She then looked straight at the AEW Women’s Champion and also claimed she hired a new manager but wouldn’t reveal who.

Rose beats Page and King

Grade A

Rose is one of the most dominant women in wrestling and it will be interesting to see who is her new manager.

Rose vs Shida should happen soon, and that could be another fantastic AEW clash.

Dark Order and Cabana vs SCU

Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky took on Brodie Lee, Stu Grayson and Colt Cabana of the Dark Order in a six-man tag.

Lee told Grayson to allow Cabana to pin Daniels and pick up the win.

Dark Order wins

Grade B

The match did have some great spots but the story was the relationship between Lee and Cabana. Cabana might be losing friends with his Dark Order link but is he ready to join them full-time and be part of Lee’s gang?

Cassidy vs Jericho

Orange Cassidy vs Chris Jericho was the main event for the second day of Fyter Fest. Cassidy wasn’t taking things lightly as he assaulted Jericho early on. However, Le Champion then took control and attacked Cassidy.

The former AEW Champion also attacked certain regions of Cassidy to try and break him down. Cassidy, however, fought back and had some close calls. Jericho even needed Santana and Ortiz to help him out while Cassidy had the Best Friends on his side.

However, Jericho hit the Judas Effect to pick up a tough win, something he might not have expected.

Jericho beats Cassidy

Grade A

This certainly was incredible clash as Cassidy flicked through the switches and attacked Jericho several times.

It seemed he had the chance to win over Jericho, which would have been huge, but Le Champion just got the win in the end.

AEW ratings and TV viewership

NXT got the better of AEW in the ratings war for a third straight week. The Great American Bash defeated Fyter Fest as WWE recorded 759,000 average viewers while AEW got just 715,000.

However, AEW did substantially better in the 18-49 demography as it came in 7th while WWE’s Bash was 24th.
