AEW Dynamite Results and Grades: Jon Moxley was in action against the Dark Order as he tried to reclaim his stolen AEW title.

Brodie Lee had taken it from him a couple of weeks back, and this was going to be retribution as Moxley tried to get a win.

However, there was more on this week’s AEW Dynamite. A huge four-woman tag match was set up which included the champion Nyla Rose and the No.1 contender Hikaru Shida.

MJF was facing off against Marko Stunt while Matt Hardy and Sammy Guevara duked too. AEW had to make it big ahead of Double or Nothing, and here are the results and grades from Dynamite.

Moxley vs No.10

Lee came out and delivered a promo of how he was going to win the title on Saturday. He asked No.10 to take on Moxley and hurt the rival too.

The champion came out and attacked No.10 from the start but the Dark Order member got a few hits too.

Moxley then got the win and threatened to break No.10’s arm if Lee didn’t come out. However, The Exalted One only came out on the big screen and said the fight would now be personal.

Moxley beats No.10

Grade B

Both stars, Lee and Moxley, cut great promos and it should make for an interesting match between them.

Lee certainly is doing well after getting the right kind of treatment from AEW, while Moxley seems hell bent on getting his stolen title back.

MJF vs Stunt

MJF and Stunt put on a great show as both stars hit high spots to keep the match going. Stunt might be the smallest man in AEW, but he packs a punch and put out some high-flying moves.

However, it was MJF who picked up the win in the end as he looks forward to facing Jungle Boy at Double or Nothing.

MJF beats Stunt

Grade B

This was another stellar match for AEW and it isn’t a surprise that MJF looks good after returning from injury.

The main story here was seeing Stunt do so well, but it is a little disappointing how he ends up losing matches despite being a star in terms of work rate and performance.

Two legends speak

Arn Anderson and Jake Roberts met to speak about their wards ahead of the TNT championship final.

Roberts spoke for Lance Archer while Anderson did for Cody Rhodes and tempers flared in the end as the officials came out to stop them from having a go at each other.

Grade C

This didn’t have to be done to be honest, Anderson and Roberts cut great promos but it might have been better if this was just a small promo rather than a whole segment.

Fenix vs Cassidy

Ray Fenix and Orange Cassidy put up another brilliant match on Dynamite. The pair also shared several incredible spots, but that is expected from the talent such as Fenix.

Cassidy also did his bit in the ring, and it was Fenix who got the win.

Fenix beats Cassidy

Grade A

This was an incredible match between two top stars, and it was great seeing Cassidy get so much offence in.

Fenix has always done well on AEW, but he was able to get Cassidy to do a lot more than we normally see.

Women’s tag match

Nyla Rose teamed up with Britt Baker to take on Hikaru Shida and Kris Statlander. It was the pairing of Baker and Rose that got one over their opponents by picking up the win.

However, Shida got the last laugh as she was able to send Rose through a table, thanks to some help fro Statlander.

Rose and Baker beat Shida and Statlander

Grade B

Shida, Statlander and Baker have finally got more time to shine in recent weeks, and they are showing it a lot.

It will be interesting to see how Shida does against Rose and taking away the title would be something great.

Baker vs Statlander should also be a great clash too.

Hardy vs Guevara

Hardy and Guevara faced off ahead of their respective sides taking part in the first ever Stadium Stampede Match at Double or nothing.

It was Hardy who ended up taking the win despite a valiant effort from Guevara. However, Hardy tried to inflict more damage on the Inner Circle member but Kenny Omega was captured by the rivals.

The Young Bucks and Hangman Page came out to make the save for Hardy and the Elite as an all out brawl ensued.

Hardy beats Guevara

Grade B

This wasn’t the greatest match that Hardy or Guevara could produce, but it set up the special match for later in the week.

The Inner Circle vs The Elite should be great, especially with Hardy coming into the fray.

AEW Dynamite TV ratings

AEW, once again, defeated NXT in their Wednesday Night wars as they racked up 701,000 viewers this week.

NXT brought in a record low of 592,000, which was down from the previous week too. AEW, for their part, beat their viewership of 654,000 from last week, and keeps getting stronger ahead of Double or Nothing.
