AEW Dynamite Results and Grades 2 September 2020: Blood spilt ahead of All Out

published

AEW Dynamite results and grades: AEW’s special PPV All Out was set for the weekend and they put on quite a show ahead of that.

Many top stars were in action ahead of the PPV with Chris Jericho taking on Joey Janela. Jon Moxley was to also battle MJF’s lawyer or the heel would miss out on his chance to get the title at All Out.

However, we start off with this AEW Dynamite results and grades piece with a few tag matches.

Santana and Ortiz vs Best Friends

The two teams attacked each other even before the match started. Once the match officially started, all four men put on a show with some great moves.

However, Santana and Ortiz got the win after using an object to hit Trent before using their finisher.

Grade B

This was a decent way to start the match and should increase the rivalry between the two teams. However, the match felt disjointed in a few spots and that hurt the quality of the clash.

Young Bucks get another big battle

The Young Bucks teamed up with Jurassic Express to take on Private Party and SCU.

The Bucks were taken out later in the clash as Express had to deal with the other four men. However, Nick and Matt Jackson made their return later on and got their team the win.

It was later announced that the Bucks would face the Express at All Out.

Bucks and Express win

Grade B

Another quality tag match from AEW, even though there were a lot of people in the action.

The Bucks vs Express will be interesting as it pits two of the best teams against one another.

Jericho vs Janela

Jericho and Janela didn’t have much of a battle actually with Le Champion winning. However, Orange Cassidy was watching the action as Jericho attacked Janela after the clash and busted him open.

Jericho got the better of Cassidy too but Sonny Kiss made the save. Cassidy closed out the segment by pouring champagne on Jericho.

Jericho beats Janela

Grade C

This wasn’t a great match as it tried to continue the rivalry between Jericho and Cassidy.

Jericho vs Cassidy has been a great watch but the match between Janela and Jericho wasn’t needed at all.

Thunder Rosa in action

Thunder Rosa took on Serena Deeb in what was an amazing clash. The two women went at it throughout with counters and brilliant moves.

While Deeb almost got the win thanks to a huge move but it was Rose who got the W with her finisher.

Rosa beats Deeb

Grade A

It was great to see Rosa in action and she put on a great show. Rosa vs Hikaru Shida should be a great match but Deeb also put on a great performance.

Moxley vs Sterling

Mark Sterling tried to chicken out of the match but MJF and Wardlow ensured the lawyer couldn’t run away and cost MJF a title shot.

The match started with Moxley mocking the lawyer and praying for what was to happen. The AEW Champion easily defeated him with the Paradigm Shift but Wardlow and MJF attacked Mox.

Mox was busted open as MJF stood tall with the title in his hands.

Moxley beats Sterling

Grade C

This was done to give Mox a fun run out and it worked a bit. However, there was nothing great in the match and the ending with a bloodied Mox lying down with MJF holding the title high was great.
