“Acting like a bunch of kids” – Twitter in splits as Daniel Ricciardo and Lando Norris fight over helmets ahead of new 2020 F1 season

Daniel Ricciardo had tweeted about the new helmets this season and Lando Norris wasn’t going to take it sitting down

The F1 season hasn’t started but Daniel Ricciardo and Lando Norris started their fight regarding the new helmets shared by some stars.

Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen and a few others had shared a few videos of their new helmets, something that caught the eye of Ricciardo.

The Australian doesn’t mince his words and had a go at the reveals by some of the stars:

The messaging was a little vague, something that McLaren star Norris picked up. Norris is also one of the most active social media users in the F1 paddock and shared a tweet to counter Ricciardo’s.

The Australian then went on to say that things should have been kept more “original” something that Norris took a shot at also:

Ricciardo and Norris have had their moments in press conferences in the past, but this was spicy, to say the least.

Many fans saw the lighter side of things as both drivers had a go at each other. Norris and Ricciardo are also two of the funniest guys in paddock and it could all be a joke between them.

The F1 season starts with the first race at Melbourne on 15 March. However, there are six days of testing before that.

McLaren have already released their car for the 2020 F1 season but Renault haven’t done that yet.

Ricciardo will partner Esteban Ocon for the French outfit and will be looking to perform better than he did last season.
