WWE SmackDown preview: WrestleMania 36 is finally here but it just doesn’t have the same feeling as years gone by.
The coronavirus pandemic hasn’t stopped WWE from producing the show. However, it will be held in the Performance Center with no fans in the arena.
Nevertheless, this year’s event is split over two days and the final SmackDown before the grand show needs to be a hit.
Miz TV madness
Last week didn’t go too well for The Miz and John Morrison. They were seeing The New Day and The Usos fighting it out to become the challengers for their tag titles at WrestleMania 36.
However, Miz and Morrison decided to interfere in the match, but that didn’t work out well.
They now face both the teams in a triple threat ladder match at Mania and will talk to them on Miz TV.
Needless to say, things won’t be civil in this meeting and we could see a preview of their fight on this weeks WWE SmackDown.
John Cena responds
Bray Wyatt came out to challenge John Cena to a Firefly Fun House match on last week’s SmackDown.
The pair are set to meet at WrestleMania but Cena has yet to accept this match invitation. A Firefly Fun House match has never been held in WWE before, and it will be a crazy trip for Cena, to say the least.
Cena has faced many obstacles in his WWE career and has overcome them, but will he be ready to take on Wyatt in this challenge?
Final meeting between Goldberg and Roman Reigns
There still is the fact that Roman Reigns and Goldberg are set to meet at WrestleMania, despite reports suggesting that The Big Dog backed out of the event due to his leukaemia health issues from the past.
WWE hasn’t confirmed a change in the card, so we could see this being looked into on this show.
If WWE wants to make a change, this is the perfect time. And it will be interesting to see what else happens on this week’s SmackDown.
