Tonight’s RAW episode will be featuring Rey and Dominik Mysterio in front of the fans in their hometown of San Diego as they face The Judgment Day’s Damian Priest and Finn Balor. Another segment features The Miz, who appears live to address Logan Paul. The Road to SummerSlam also begins today.
1. The Miz responds to a warning from Logan Paul.
WWE announced during Money in the Bank that The Miz will respond to Logan Paul on tonight’s Monday Night RAW. It was revealed last week that Paul has signed with WWE.
He mentioned that he’s looking forward to getting revenge for The Miz turning on him after their victory over Rey and Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania 38. Paul wrote on the back of his new WWE contract, “Coming 4 U @TheMiz.”
Paul’s WWE contract is reportedly a multi-year deal. He is rumoured to face The Miz in a one-on-one match at SummerSlam in Nashville, Tennessee, on Saturday, July 30. He is expected to appear in RAW before Summer Slam.
2. Rey and Dominik Mysterio will take on The Judgement Day’s Damian Priest and Finn Balor
Last week on Monday Night Raw, Finn Balor and Damien Priest confronted the Mysterios during a backstage segment during last Monday’s RAW. They appeared to make an overture to Dominik. Instead, the segment began with Balor listing Rey Mysterio’s long list of accomplishments in the WWE.
“You are loved and respected by everyone in the business,” Balor told Rey. “So I’m a little confused – what is that you are not teaching Dominik?”
“Our door is always open, especially for the people who are tired of hearing the same thing repeatedly and are being led by so-called leaders that just lead you down the wrong path,” Priest told Dominik last Monday.
The third member of The Judgment Day, Rhea Ripley, is a title challenger-in-waiting for “Raw” Women’s Champion Bianca Belair.
3. Bobby Lashley is to appear tonight
New WWE United States Champion Bobby Lashley is also expected to appear tonight. So is the man he beat for the title at the Money in the Bank ladder match.
Theory, who won the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match later in the Night, is also expected to appear tonight.
