WWE NXT results, winners, grades and reaction: This episode of NXT was expected to carry the same energy as NXT TakeOver: Portland.

The Undisputed Era came out to speak on NXT (WWE)

The evening started with Velveteen Dream interrupting Adam Cole’s celebration of retaining the NXT crown against Tommaso Ciampa.

Dream wanted to face just Roderick Strong without any interference from the rest of the UE.

Grade B

A typical start to a WWE show. It was great seeing the Dream back and ready for more action.

Devlin vs Rush

It was Lio Rush that put up a great performance as the former Cruiserweight champion took on the current one.

In the end, Jordan Devlin picked up the win but both men looked great.

Devlin beats Rush

Grade B

Rush and Devlin looked great as a pair, and hopefully, we get to see more of them in action soon.

Ciampa destroys Theory

Ciampa lost the match at Portland thanks to Johnny Gargano interrupting the match. Austin Theory was out for a clash but the Blackheart was upset at not having seen this coming against Cole.

Theory didn’t waste time and attacked the former champion, but was laid out by Ciampa, in brutal fashion.

Grade B

Another solid segment on this week’s NXT. This should set up another brilliant Gargano vs Ciampa fight, but there should be more for Theory to do on the show.

Grizzled Young Veterans in action

The Grizzled Young Veterans, James Drake and Zack Gibson, have looked great in recent weeks.

They faced Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza in a tag match, but the Veterans were no match for the pair.

The Veterans picked up an easy win and warned that NXT is for the taking.

Grizzled Young Veterans beat Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza

Grade C

A squash match with some story behind it, but the Veterans didn’t need to face a pair of Cruiserweights.

Broserweights continue winning

Pete Dunne and Matt Riddle were back in action after winning the NXT titles at TakeOver: Portland.

They have looked great as a pair and picked up an easy win against Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan thanks to some fine knee strikes.

Broserweights beat Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan

Grade C

Riddle and Dunne looked great again but they weren’t really pushed to the limit by their opponents.

Lee faces off against Dijakovic

Keith Lee kept his NXT North American title by defeating Dominik Dijakovic and took on Kona Reeves.

Lee was speaking about the win before he was interrupted, and made light work of Reeves too.

The Limitless One was then challenged by Dijakovic after the match, and that was accepted by Lee.

Lee beats Reeves

Grade B

A Lee vs Dijakovic match, again, should be excellent, and hopefully, the pair bring the house down again with round 2 of their rivalry.

The Robert Stone Brand gets a win

Chelsea Green took on Kayden Carter and got the first win of the Robert Stone Brand.

However, it was the interruption from Bianca Belair that got everyone talking. The EST of NXT called out Charlotte Flair and the disrespect the Queen had for the rising NXT star.

That allowed Stone to help his client to a first win under his management.

Green beats Carter

Grade D

The match didn’t have a lot riding on it but it was great to see Green pick up the win.

Also, questions are to be asked about the Belair vs Flair clash. What happens to NXT’s women’s division? The same for the SmackDown women’s division as the Queen is on NXT, but will she be there permanently?

Dream vs Strong

Dream returning to in-ring action can only be great for NXT and Strong came out to the ring without any help from UE.

Strong tried his level best but it was Dream that came out on top, even with the UE coming out to play spoilsport.

The UE had the last laugh as they beat Dream after the match, some form of revenge for Strong.

Dream beats Strong

Grade A

This was a decent match to end the night as both wrestlers had a go at each other. Dream looked good in his return, and it will be interesting to see who he faces next.
