WWE NXT preview: Last week’s NXT was a little different as we didn’t get any matches but interviews of several stars instead.
That was due to the stars shifting to the Performance Center, and Triple H will address the Universe of this episode too.
WWE have confirmed that several NXT TakeOver: Tampa Bay matches will take place in the coming weeks, and the Game will address a lot more.
However, there are some intriguing segments in line for all fans on the upcoming episode of NXT.
Ladder match qualifiers
Two matches will feature the NXT women getting a shot for the NXT Women’s Championship No.1 Contender’s Ladder match.
This week’s show features Candice LaRae face Kayden Carter and the other clash has Aliyah take on Xia Li.
It will be interesting to see which stars make the cut for what is going to be a huge match.
Breeze takes on Theory
Tyler Breeze has been on a bit of a surge since returning to NXT and will continue his rivalry with Austin Theory.
Theory, for his part, has been impressive too and this should be a brilliant battle between the hotshots.
Riddle vs Strong
The Broserweights shocked the world by picking up the NXT tag titles from The Undisputed Era.
However, Matt Riddle and Pete Dunne have been on the receiving end of some attacks by the Grizzled Young Veterans.
Riddle takes on the former NXT North American champ Roderick Strong this week, and it will be interesting to see if the UE member gets the better of the tag champion.
What about Gargano and Ciampa?
Last week, we saw just why there is an intense rivalry between Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa.
The pair nearly destroyed NXT a couple of weeks back and both have been placed on the injury list.
William Regal, NXT GM, said he would deal with the pair in private but there could be fallout from this clash on this week’s NXT.
The pair should meet at the next WWE NXT special, but there could be a preview of their fight this week.
The champion addresses the Universe
Adam Cole became the longest-reigning NXT champion in history as he went past Finn Balor’s reign of 292 days.
The leader of the Undisputed Era wants to share a special message with the fans this week, but there could be a surprise waiting for him.
Velveteen Dream has targeted Cole in recent weeks, and it will be interesting to see if The Dream comes out to make Cole’s address a nightmare.
