Queen Zelina Vega has reacted to Booker T congratulating her
The Crown Jewel PPV saw the first ever winner of the Queen’s Crown tournament. The final was contested between Zelina Vega and Doudrop.
Vega prevailed on top and managed to beat Doudrop despite of her weight and size disadvantage to become the first ever Queen’s Crown tournament winner. WWE legend Booker T took to Twitter to congratulate Vega and said:
“Congratulations @TheaTrinidad! All Hail Queen Zelina! #WWECrownJewel”
Vega had beaten Toni Storm and Carmella on her way to the finals of the tournament. In a match which she looked like the underdog because of her size disadvantage she certainly silenced the naysayers with a spectacular win over Doudrop.
How did Zelina Vega react to Booker T’s message?
Upon seeing the message from the WWE legend, Vega was certainly overwhelmed and replied to Booker T’s message on Twitter where she said:
“Coming from King Booker, that means a lot! @BookerT5x”
Vega thanked Booker T and said that it meant a lot of coming from King Booker. Booker T is a winner of the men’s counterpart to Queen’s Crown aka King of the Ring himself. He won the tournament back in 2006.
The Queen made history at Crown Jewel and has etched her name in the history books forever as the first even Queen’s Crown winner. It was a really hard fought victory and Doudrop looked to be in control in the early stages of the match.
However, the momentum shifted soon and Vega executed her Code Red Powerbomb to get a win over Doudrop via pinfall in the final of the Queen’s Crown tournament.
