WWE United States Champion Apollo Crews teases link-up with MVP
In a cryptic post on Twitter, Apollo Crews, who is the current WWE United States Champion, has hinted at a potential team-up with MVP on Raw.
Crews has been the US Champion since May 25, when he defeated Andrade to win the belt.
MVP, who has been a surprise positive since his return to the promotion, is currently managing Bobby Lashley and nearly led him to the WWE Universal Championship triumph at Backlash this past Sunday.
On Monday’s episode of Raw, MVP approached Crews to join hands with him. However, the US Champion refused flatly, before going on to defend his title against Shelton Benjamin. Interestingly, he used the ropes to grab the win – a tactic used by heels in WWE.
Crews hints at teaming up with MVP
Following Benjamin’s defeat MVP made a proposition to manage him, which the former seems to be considering.
Now, Crews, too, has dropped a hint on Twitter that he could be set to team up with MVP. The US Champion posted an image of himself and MVP with an eyebrow-raised emoji.

Is Crews hinting at a team-up with MVP? Or are the two set to battle it out for the US Championship in the coming weeks?
It must be noted that MVP is a former US Champion and was seen eyeing the title on Raw this past week. He also told Crews that it would be a “shame” if he “lost” the title. Check out the clip below.
It will be interesting to see what turn this story takes in the coming weeks.
