The talented Apollo Crews shocked the WWE Universe as he made a surprise visit to NXT. He challenged Bron Breakker for the latter’s NXT Championship.
Bron Breakker won the NXT Championship on the RAW after WrestleMania 38 from Dolph Ziggler. The two had been involved in a feud for a few weeks. Breakker moved on from the Showoff and feuded with Joe Gacy. Breakker managed to successfully defend his title a couple of times against Gacy.
This week on NXT, Breakker came to the ring and he wanted to find out who was willing to step up to him and challenge him for the title. Apollo Crews’ music hit and the former Intercontinental Champion made his way to the ring. The fans in attendance greeted him with huge cheers.
Crews said he wants a shot at the NXT Championship down the road. The 34-year-old shook hands with Breakker before exiting the ring.

Apollo Crews returned to NXT after 6 years after winning the Intercontinental Championship and the United States Championship on one occasion each on the main roster.
Fans were quite excited to see Crews back on NXT. Crews is a spectacular athlete with a rare combination of agility and strength. However, he has not been booked too well during his time on the main roster.
Apollo Crews teamed with Solo Sikoa in the main event of this week’s episode of NXT. They defeated the team of NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes and Grayson Waller.
