CM Punk claimed Tucker or Mandy Rose could backstab Otis after Money in the Bank
Otis winning the Money in the Bank match on Sunday has to go down as one of the surprises of the year.
The Heavy Machinery member is known to be a tag team specialist alongside Tucker. However, he has been involved in a singles battle with Dolph Ziggler recently.
Ziggler played games with Otis and his chance of landing Mandy Rose. However, the truth finally came out and Otis got his girl.
He also defeated Ziggler to reach the Money in the Bank match and was in the right spot to match the catch. AJ Styles had unhooked the briefcase from the top but couldn’t hold onto it and it fell into Otis’ hands.
While Rose and Tucker have congratulated Otis, CM Punk claimed the MITB winner has a target on his back.
Punk was speaking on WWE The Bump and warned Otis something might happen:
“He’s [Tucker] gonna try and take that briefcase from you. Mandy Rose? She’s gonna try and take the briefcase too.”
However, Tucker shot back at Punk and claimed there was something wrong with his head:
“Seems like someone’s been punched in the head too many times. Sorry Phil.”
Can Otis really lift the title?
The briefcase allows Otis the chance to fight any champion at any time, and it will be interesting to see what happens next.
Otis is a tag specialist, but he might think of becoming the top dog in WWE. As for Rose or Tucker stealing it, Punk might have the right idea in his head.
WWE has seen stranger things happen and Tucker could pull a switch on Otis. The Otis-Rose storyline has been one of the most interesting angles in WWE recently.
Hopefully, we get more excitement after Otis’ win at Money in the Bank.
