Former Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura shares behind the scene photo with John Cena
WWE Superstar Shinsuke Nakamura recently revealed that he will also be celebrating 20 years in the wrestling business, just like John Cena.
The wrestling world celebrates Cena’s 20th anniversary in WWE this month. Nakamura took to his Instagram handle and announced that he would be celebrating his twenty years by the end of this August.
“#cena20 !! When we get to the end of August this year, it will be #Nakamura20 ???.”
Shinsuke started his wrestling journey in August 2002, when he began performing for New Japan Pro-Wrestling. Since then, he has stamped his authority as one of the most talented wrestlers in the current time, facing off against stars like AJ Styles and John Cena.
Backstage update on how the locker room feels about John Cena’s WWE return
John Cena has reportedly been a huge boost to the locker room as he is such a motivational boost for the whole roster.
According to WrestleVotes, the locker room is excited about Cena’s return and the positive presence that he exudes.
Aside from the obvious business boost, I’m told the return of John Cena is as exciting for the locker room as it is for the fans. Cena is viewed as the ultimate leader, w/ his positive presence felt throughout the company when he’s around.
Cena might face Austin Theory at SummerSlam, according to the latest report from Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer.
“Cena returns on the 6/27 Raw show in Laredo, TX. While this has not been confirmed to us by the company, the talk in wrestling is that it will be Cena vs Theory at SummerSlam with the idea that working with Cena will bring Theory up to a higher level,” said Meltzer.
