Shayna Baszler has a new nickname after she destroys Akira Tozawa’s ninjas

After a long time off the screen, Shayna Baszler finally made an appearance of WWE Raw this past Monday.

The Queen of Spades has hardly been seen on Raw since her defeat to Becky Lynch back at WrestleMania 36. There had been reports that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon wasn’t sold on the former UFC star, leading to her absence from television.

However, Baszler finally returned to Raw this past week and made quite the statement. Interrupting R-Truth’s 24/7 Championship defence against Akira Tozawa, she took on and dispatched the latter’s Ninja brigade, reinforcing her status as a legit badass.

Baszler is now ‘Ninja Killer’

Having destroyed Tozawa’s ninjas, Baszler coined a new nickname for herself. After Raw, she posted an image of herself on Instagram, which she captioned ‘Ninja Killer’.

Given her dominant run on NXT, there is a general feeling that Baszler has been wasted since being called up on Raw. However, following her impressive return this past Monday, hopefully, WWE find ways to make the best use of her.

She was pushed quite a lot before facing Lynch at WrestleMania 36. However, she couldn’t get the better of The Man and then saw Asuka win the Money in the Bank title.

Asuka was then handed the Raw Women’s Title inside the briefcase as Lynch confirmed she was stepping down and starting a family.

With Asuka’s title feud with Sasha Banks likely to culminate at the Extreme Rules PPV later this weekend, the ‘Empress of Tomorrow’ will need a new challenger ahead of SummerSlam. And Baszler would make a fine opponent for the current WWE Raw Women’s Champion.
