Seth Rollins and Cesaro are to clash on SmackDown for a place in the 2021 Money in the Bank PPV

The 2021 Money in the Bank PPV is just a few days away but some spots are yet to be filled.

WWE SmackDown will be filling up one slot after Friday with Seth Rollins and Cesaro clashing.

The pair have met several times in recent months with both stars trading wins. However, the stakes will be raised on Friday with a place in MITB waiting for the winner.

Cesaro has been on a bit of a rise and would provide a tough rival for Rollins. The Messiah, however, doesn’t believe that his rival has enough to get over him and brought up the 2014 PPV.

Rollins was the one who picked up the briefcase in all this, and got an opportunity of a lifetime.

The Messiah added that history has a chance of repeating itself and believed he was going to not only win on Friday but also get the briefcase.

Money in the Bank matches look stacked

There are eight spots in each Money in the Bank match and the men’s and women’s clashes are loaded.

Asuka, Zelina Vega, Naomi, Nikki ASH, Alexa Bliss and Carmella are confirmed participants for the women’s match with two more slots open.

For the men, Ricochet, John Morrison, Big E, Cesaro, Riddle and Kevin Owens are the confirmed stars.

The other spot to be decided, apart from Rollins vs Cesaro, sees King Nakamura take on Baron Corbin.

That pairing also has seen a heated rivalry develop and we could see the Japanese King get one over Corbin.

Rollins and Cesaro have put up some great matches and there is no doubt tomorrow’s match will be a barnstormer.
