Current NXT champion Karrion Kross and wife Scarlett Bordeaux receive main roster tryout
Scarlett Bordeaux and husband Karrion Kross were seen backstage when WWE SmackDown was taping this Friday.
The company also taped two matches for WWE Main event, which featured Kross. Kross is the current NXT champion and defended the title at NXT TakeOver: In Your House in a five-way match.
According to a report from Dave Meltzer, he says: (h/t Ringside News)
โI mean, Karrion Kross is getting fast tracked to the main roster. I donโt know when it is, but from the day he signed there was a question of how long until they bring him up. Heโll get his chance. They like his look, he talks well, heโs got good facial expressions. So, you know, weโll see.โ
With the win at NXT: Takeover, Kross has shown the entire roster of his abilities. He has succesfully defended his title since winning it from Finn Balor for the second time.
Kross will be a good addition to the RAW or SmackDown roster, with his impress qualities already displayed on NXT. With a release of top Superstars, this would be a perfect opportunity for him to move up and be managed by wife, Scarlette Bordeaux.
Will Bordeaux finally make her in-return in WWE?
Bordeaux has been alongside her husband Kross since his inception into WWE. Despite her experience inside the ring, she has never been inside a WWE ring. Her management has been noticed as Karrion Kross holds the current NXT crown.
She has wrestled in other big promotions like AAA Lucha Libre, Ring of Honour and IMPACT Wrestling. Despite her healthy resume, her return is yet to occur and is possible to happen soon. After the newfound reports, Bordeaux may be returning inside the ring to fight on NXT. She has also been one of the Rosebuds with Adam Rose.
