Talks of Becky Lynch making a return during the week of the next WWE Draft have been doing the rounds
It has been almost 15 months since Becky Lynch’s last appearance in the WWE. ‘The Man’ has not stepped inside the ring since her match against Shayna Baszler at WWE WrestleMania 36 in April 2020 (filmed March).
Following her win over Baszler at WrestleMania 36, Lynch’s title reign (WWE Women’s Championship) went past a year. Shortly after that, on the 11th of May, Lynch announced that she would be relinquishing her title, due to real-life pregnancy.
The title was then handed over to Asuka, and is currently held by Nikki A.S.H.
On the 4th of December, Lynch (married to Seth Rollins of WWE) gave birth to a daughter Roux. Ever since then, talks of Lynch making a return to the promotion have been all over the news.
With over 8 months gone, since the birth of her daughter, talks of her return have intensified.
Becky Lynch to return on the weekend of WWE 2021 Draft?
The WWE 2021 Draft is expected to take place on the 30th of August and the 3rd of September this year.
There were a lot of speculations that Lynch might return on the weekend of WWE 2021. The latest news according to Ringside News is that ‘The Man’ will certainly not be returning until the next WWE draft.
Therefore, it is hard to rule out a possibility of a ‘Becky Lynch return’ on the week of WWE 2021 Draft or the week following it.
