WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar gets huge praise by WWE
Universal Champion Roman Reigns will take on Brock Lesnar in the WWE Crown Jewel PPV in Saudi Arabia. Even before the match, their feud has got quite a lot of praise from WWE internally.
It was reported by Ringside News that Reigns and Lesnar’s segment from SmackDown last week was really liked by not only the fans but also from other superstars and members of WWE as well as. The angle was really excellent, and it got some fantastic responses.
The company has acknowledged the Tribal Chief and the Beast Incarnate, and due to this, there were no discussions about the ratings of the show, which was compared with AEW Rampage’s rating.
Steve Carrier of Ringside News mentioned on his Twitter about asking the report about AEW Rampage and Smackdown viewership during Raw last night. Still, it was the Brock/Roman segment that was discussed, and along with that, a lot of people were also talking about Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair going to opposite brands.
“Asked about this report about #AEWRampage & #Smackdown viewership numbers being a ‘HOT TOPIC’ backstage during #WWERAW last night. It was indicated to us that this wasn’t the case. Brock/Roman feud and Becky/Charlotte swap were the only considerable ‘hot topics’ with staff.”
Shane Helms also took to Twitter and said that he didn’t hear anything regarding the ratings.
“As someone who was there, I didn’t hear one word spoken about it. Not a single word.”
WWE Crown Jewel to cause some travel situations
WWE’s next pay-per-view Crown Jewel will be taking place tomorrow in Saudi Arabia, but the topic of discussion was more about the trip as it will be a massive travel situation for the roster.
They will have a long layover in London before enrolling in Saudi Arabia, where they will take their carry-on bags off the plane for two hours. This will be pretty interesting as the roster will spend a lot of time together, and more stories can develop before and after the PPV.
