Roman Reigns had a clever reply for Baron Corbin as the two joked on an Instagram post
WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns has a close relationship with Baron Corbin in real life. That friendship, however, stays out of the ring as the two have had a fiery history with each other on WWE.
In January 2020, The Tribal Chief humiliated Corbin by throwing dog food all over him. The feud carried on until Reigns took a break from SmackDown.
Since his return at SummerSlam 2020, Reigns has aligned with Paul Heyman and Jey Uso to wreak havoc in the promotion. He is looking fitter and stronger than ever, and he gave the fans a sneak peek inside his training regime.
Reigns shared a video of him impressively lifting 120lbs dumbbells inside the gym, and captioned it:
“Stronger than the last time I posted this lift. Progress is the daily, monthly and yearly goal. Enjoy the process of breaking through plateaus to continually get better. #y3t @neil_yoda_hill1“
Roman Reigns had a clapback ready for Baron Corbin
The post came to the notice of former King of the Ring winner Baron Corbin, who jokingly implied that Reigns was not pulling enough weight.
Corbin asked “is it half rep day?”, to which the Big Dog replied by implying that the former King of the Ring should try doing it as well.
Reigns goes into 2021 on the back of two amazing wins against contender Kevin Owens. The two battled it out for the belt at TLC 2020, but another match in the steel cage on SmackDown was the one that caught the eyes of the wrestling world.
