The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns is undoubtedly the biggest name in WWE right now. He has been fortunate enough to have caught the eyes of the writers in the company who have helped him become a top star in WWE. This has helped WWE to create a massive brand out of Reigns and increase his popularity.
As a result Reigns happens to be the current highest merchandise selling wrestler in the company. WrestlingNews.co reported that WWE are very happy with Reigns’ character and also the merchandise sales he has been producing. It is also said that apart from being the top merchandise seller currently he is also the number one merchandise seller as a heel in the history of the company.
It is also reported that Reigns’ merchandise sales are on the level of John Cena. That is very surprising as heels tend to have lesser popularity when compared to baby faces. Cena was a baby face almost throughout his career whereas, Reigns is a heel currently.
Reigns has certainly become the face of the company and will look forward to continue his dominance inside and outside the ring.
What lies next for Roman Reigns?
Reigns is set to defend his Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar in the upcoming Crown Jewel PPV. This will be Lesnar’s first match in almost 2 years. Moreover the rivalry between Reigns and Lesnar looks set to continue even after the Crown Jewel PPV.
