Rob Van Dam spent several years in WWE and stopped using one move out of respect for Triple H

Triple H is one of the greatest WWE stars to have graced wrestling and seems to have the respect of Rob Van Dam.

Van Dam used to be part of WWE and won several titles during his stint in the ring. The unorthodox star, who is known for his kicks and daring moves, also had some huge suplexes in his arsenal.

One such video surfaced of RVD doing a double underhook front suplex. However, we rarely got to see that in WWE, despite the high-flyer winning the ECW and WWE title in the past.

Van Dam explained on Twitter why he decided to stop using it. The first reason was that it felt like a better version of Triple H’s finisher, the pedigree.

The second reason was a little hilarious as Van Dam said that his opponents didn’t like taking that hit.

Triple H leading WWE

The Game has had several huge matches over the years but has now taken a back-seat. Triple H is responsible for the growth of NXT as a brand, and he has brought in several talents from the other brand.

The Game has helped WWE in several aspects, and it is only right that Van Dam decided to stop using a move that could have been seen as a better one when compared to H.

RVD, for his part, hasn’t stopped wrestling and is currently one of the top stars in TNA. He is enjoying a great time on the other promotion and has done a lot of work for ECW in the past too.

Van Dam is still one of the best workers in the ring, despite being 49, and it seems he has a few more years left in the tank.
