Rob Van Dam had an interesting answer regarding his dream WrestleMania match

Wrestling great Rob Van Dam has thrilled fans across several brands over three decades. The 49-year-old is still going strong on TNA and seems to be enjoying himself more than ever after teaming up with Katie Forbes.

While the couple have shot some interesting segments for TNA, there is no doubting that Van Dam is one of the greatest to have hit the ring.

He has a unique move set and was one of the most popular characters during his time at ECW and WWE.

Van Dam has fought most of the top stars in the world and has featured in several WrestleMania events. However, the high-flyer was never able to headline an event.

Van Dam’s greatest moment at WrestleMania was possibly winning the Money in the Bank Ladder match at WM 22, and he was asked what his dream match would have been.

The former ECW champion gave a pretty straightforward answer and didn’t actually name any wrestler he wanted to face.

Van Dam claimed that headlining the event would have been great for the incredible pay.

WrestleMania split over two days

Van Dam could have headlined a WrestleMania but WWE had so many big talents at that time and he wasn’t really given a heated feud that could go on for a while.

He did win several titles in the promotion, and this year’s WrestleMania was a little different. Not only were there no fans due to the coronavirus pandemic the event was split over two days.

If that was the case during Van Dam’s time, he could have headlined one of the days. He did also win the WWE title once and won the Hardcore title four times and the Intercontinental title six times.

He also won several tag titles during his time with the promotion, but it is unlikely he will return to WWE anytime soon.
