Dexter Lumis and Indi Hartwell were united on the first NXT episode after Stand & Deliver
Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis have had a thing for each other for a while now. And finally, WWE decided to unite them after Stand & Deliver on NXT.
There is one thing that stands between them, however- Hartwell’s stable, The Way. It consists of Hartwell, Johnny Gargano, his wife Candice LeRae, and Austin Theory.
Considering Gargano’s bad blood with Lumis in the past, the group naturally doesn’t approve of their relationship and it could be a thorn in their rose in the future.
But it didn’t stop them from reaching this stage so who is to say if they can separate these lovebirds from each other? Hartwell, meanwhile, won the NXT women’s tag team championship with LeRae this Tuesday.
And former NXT star, Rhea Ripley, who is also the new WWE RAW women’s champion, had her say on the couple’s relationship considering she worked on the gold brand with them not long back.
Rhea Ripley says Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis are madly in love with each other
Ripley was talking to Samantha Riches on the WWE network when she was asked who she likes watching the most on NXT.
“It’s hard to pinpoint who I like watching the most. I love watching Indi and seeing what she’s doing with Dexter Lumis and how she’s madly in love with him and grunts me out every single time I see her face expressions or… her being ‘knocked out’ or fainted or something like that and he’s, like, carrying her away… I really enjoy that stuff.”
Ripley just recently made the step up from NXT. The 24-year-old was thrown into the shark pit with Asuka for the RAW women’s title.
To everyone’s surprise, she won and is now in between an exciting feud with the Japanese wrestler and Charlotte Flair.
She was, of course, on the NXT in the past. ‘The Nightmare’ spent close to 4 years on the gold brand where she was also the NXT women’s champion before her call-up to RAW.
