The IIconics have to split up now but Rhea Ripley doesn’t want to see this take place

Former WWE NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley was the latest star not keen on seeing the split of the IIconics.

Peyton Royce and Billie Kay have to split up after losing to Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan on Raw this week.

The winners of the match got a Women’s tag team opportunity but the losers had to disband. Royce and Kay have been a tag team ever since they started wrestling and made a name for themselves in Australia before coming over to the US.

They are former Women’s tag champions but that is a thing of the past. The pair have to split up now and they Aussies were not happy at all about all this.

While the Aussies cried out in the middle of the ring, fellow Australian Ripley also didn’t want to see them split up.

Not the best of days for Kay

Royce and Kay then tried their luck on Raw Underground after losing their match. However, Kay was destroyed by Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir and this segment didn’t go all too well for her.

While the IIconics splitting up is a big story in itself, it does raise a lot of questions regarding the future of both stars.

WWE could split Kay and Royce on different brands and the pair could shine in single matches. Royce and Kay have never been seen in too many single clashes but this could be an opportunity to grow further.

WWE also has this history of splitting teams up and then making crazy pairs. The latest example is that of Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax.

The pair hated each other but somehow have worked together to become the new tag champions. They defeated Sasha Banks and Bayley at Payback, and it will be interesting to see how long they can keep the gold.
