Randy Orton shares who will decide on his retirement from wrestling

Speaking on The Kurt Angle Show (h/t Ringside News), WWE Superstar Randy Orton has shed light on his retirement plans.

A true veteran in the industry, Orton has been active on WWE for nearly two decades now, having made his debut in 2002.

From his Evolution days to the Legend Killer persona, ‘The Viper’ has entertained and enthralled fans for years now. A future Hall of Famer without a doubt, Orton is a ten-time WWE Champion, a four-time World Heavyweight Champion while is also a two-time Royal Rumble Winner.

However, as is the case with anyone in the pro-wrestling world, Orton, too, will call time on his career one day.

And, the Viper has now revealed that it will be his wife, Kimberly, who will have the say on when he should hang up his boots.

“My big thing and my wife Kim has promised me, that if she looks at me and she thinks I’m becoming kind of a parody of myself or if I’m unable to do the things that the fans need to be able to physically see me do, in order for them to believe, you know, that an RKO still has as much sting as it once did.

“You know, if I can’t do all those things, she has promised me that she is going to let me know that it’s time to hang up the boots, and until then, I’m putting my trust in her, and I’m just going to enjoy what I do because I got great kids. I got five wonderful children. I’ve got a beautiful home—a beautiful wife. Life is really good.”

Fresh out of a bizarre storyline involving The Fiend and Alexa Bliss, Orton is currently seen teaming up Riddle on Raw. It is only a matter of time before he turns on the Original Bro though.

As for his retirement, Orton still has plenty left to offer and is going strong. He has put up some fine performances over the last year (vs Drew McIntyre and Edge) while his a large number of his promos have been top notch as well.
