‘XFL sideline reporting not for me’ – Pat McAfee

Pat McAfee tried his hand at sideline reporting last year at XFL, which was founded by Vince McMahon as well. However, McAfee later pulled out of it, saying that sideline reporting was totally not for him.

He clarified that he was not trained for this, and one’s got to remember certain things to be a sideline reporter.

This is what he had to say about it in a recent episode of his Pat McAfee show:

“I’m not trained for this. People go to school for a long time to be good sideline reporters. There’s certain information, there has to be timing, you have to remember certain things. I’m like, this ain’t my fucking thing.”
