After cutting some impressive promos over the past few weeks, Nikkita Lyons finally made her in-ring debut at the Fallout edition of Vengeance Day in NXT 2.0

Nikkita Lyons came out with confidence and didn’t falter at the feet of expectations. Lyons displayed strength and athleticism on her way to defeating Kayla Inlay convincingly. A few of the moves she used in the ring were the hip toss, the superman punch. She finished things off with a spinning kick.

The 22-year old Nikkita Lyons is a Taekwondo practitioner and a musician. She began training in professional wrestling in 2018 under Selina Majors. Before coming to WWE, Nikkita plied her trade in the Women of Wrestling promotion. She performed under the ring name Faith The Lioness. Nikkita signed with WWE in 2021.

Fan reactions to Nikkita Lyons’ resounding debut:

Nikkita took Twitter by storm after her debut match. Many touted her as a future WWE Women’s Champion while few even went further saying she will be the face of the company in the near future.

Lyons after her match gave a backstage interview saying, “I feel overwhelmed and excited and grateful and I’m absolutely blessed and happy to be here everything in my life has been leading up to this moment. And you know your girl Nikki Lyons is here, sweating through her gear as she is nervous but I’m just extremely grateful and Nikkita is taking over. Let’s get it.”

We will have to wait and watch how her career unfolds at NXT and how quickly she gets into either Raw or SmackDown roster. It is for certain, that if Nikkita can keep her focus, she has it in her to make it big in WWE. A Mandy Rose versus Nikkita Lyons feud might not be too far away.
