Nikki Cross is in the fray for a possible title after Charlotte Flair attempts to win back the RAW Women’s title against champion Rhea Ripley.

Rhea Ripley has been the dominant force on RAW, after beating Asuka at WrestleMania 37 for her first major title. The former NXT champion moved up to the main roster barely a month ago before getting her hands on the gold. Flair, meanwhile, will be looking to add to her glorious collection and win another title in WWE.

Cross, meanwhile, has been notably given a push in this storyline. WWE is trying to add Cross to the championship scene by having her face both the opponents. Cross beat Flair and Ripley in Beat the Clock challenges on RAW. This storyline adds a fresh breath of air to the title scene. Cross last won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship with Alexa Bliss.

Cross is one of the most talented wrestlers on the roster, having been a part of Sanity on WWE NXT. Her quirkiness and enthusiasm has caught the eye of fans and experts.

Flair’s Take on Nikki Cross’ Recent Push

Flair is impressed that WWE is pushing for Cross to the championship picture. Talking to the New York Post, she says: (h/t WrestleZone)

“I love adding wrinkles and I adore Nikki Cross. I have for many years, prior to her being added to this storyline. It just gives it another person who could be in the title picture against Rhea that is a player and see her grow. I’m not sure where it’s gonna go. I think the one-upmanship is I’m saying that Rhea isn’t mature enough and at the same time it’s my own ego that always seems to get in the way. So who really is the mature one ?”
